Cumin comes from a plant called Nigella Sativa and presents with numerous skincare benefits. Cumin consists of both Vitamin C and E, both of which are widely established ingredients for a healthier, younger skin. These vitamins present in cumin fight signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines, and pigmentation. Cumin also contains antioxidant properties which help in skin repair and healing, once again highlighting its role in anti-ageing.

Besides its role in combating ageing, cumin is also useful in the treatment of acne as it contains various active ingredients such as thymol, cuminaldehyde, and phosphorous, all of which are known anti-inflammatory agents. Cumin is also effective for the treatment of skin disorders such as psoriasis and eczema.
