Directions
Apply a Five-Coloured LED mask to cleansed, dry skin. Use 2-3 times weekly, starting with 10 minutes of LED mask time and slowly building up to 20 minutes. Discover optimum results after around a month of regular use.
Each light performs a targeted treatment, so you can select the light you would like to use for a session. You can use a single light to target a specific skin concern or a combination of lights throughout the week. The Light-Therapy Golden Facial Treatment Device comes with an adjustable head strap, or it can simply rest on your face if you’re lying flat.

For individuals suffering from eye-related disorders (e.g., retinitis pigmentosa, ocular albinism, and other congenital retinal disorders), repeated exposure may cause varying degrees of retinal damage that could be irreversible and accelerate peripheral vision impairment or loss. Please consult your doctor before using five-coloured LED treatments.
Please do not exceed the recommended usage time, as prolonged exposure could cause skin or eye damage.
Individuals who are prone to migraines may want to approach this product with caution, as bright lights can potentially trigger a migraine. At your discretion, those suffering from migraines may try this product for a few minutes and gradually build up the time.
Do not use this Five-Coloured LED mask if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, cancer, or haemorrhage, or if you are taking medications including, but not limited to tetracycline or steroids. In individuals suffering from eye-related disorders, e.g., retinitis pigmentosa, ocular albinism, and other congenital retinal disorders), repeated blue light exposure may cause varying degrees of damage that could be irreversible and could accelerate peripheral vision impairment or loss. Please consult your doctor before using.
There is no UV exposure with this treatment. LEDs do not increase sensitivity to sunlight, but SPF is always recommended.

The LED device comes with an adjustable head strap or it can simply rest it on your face if you’re laying flat.
A. With consistent use, it usually takes 6-8 weeks to see optimum results.
A. LED masks are not similar to UVA or UVB rays, the wavelengths are much longer which stimulates cell repair rather than damage. However, if you feel more comfortable adding eye protection with goggles there is absolutely no harm in doing so.
A. We advise against using LED therapy if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. While there are no known harmful effects, there is also no concrete research that suggests the Light-Therapy Golden Facial Treatment Device is safe to use during pregnancy, so as a brand we always tend to err on the safe side.
A. As the mask is a standard size, we recognise it can feel heavier and rest in different places for different bone structures. We have recommended before using cotton wool pads where it is particularly uncomfortable to ease pressure. If you need to lift the mask slightly towards the end of your session you will still get all the benefits of the LED, it doesn’t need to be touching the skin, as such.Â
Maryam personally uses our Hydra-Bright eye masks (or something similar) during a session to get the added benefit of a serum mask during light therapy, should pressure cause discomfort around the eye area.
A. Using the highest intensity for 10 minutes uses:
Max energy: 45J/cm2
Output intensity: 35mw/cm2
Please bear in mind that the brightness/intensity is adjustable via 5 levels, so the energy output varies according to the intensity selected. For those with more sensitive eyes, we suggest using the lower intensity as this is likely more tolerable. Using a lower intensity makes it easier to keep your eyes open but we suggest keeping them closed, or it can be a personal preference to use eye protection when using the maximum intensity/brightness.

A. No, our light therapy mask does not feature IR light. The red light, at 630 nanometers, stimulates collagen synthesis.
White and infrared light have different functions on the skin. White light is key for penetrating the skin and accelerating renewal processes and metabolism, helping to firm and improve the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation. Infrared light has a thermal effect and is mainly helpful for promoting circulation.

A. You can test your cable by doing the below:
- Please try a different USB-A cord to ensure the cord you are currently using may not be damaged / experiencing an electrical short.
- Please try a different outlet. These tests will allow us to determine if the
cord, base or outlet is faulty and the cause of the device issues.
If you determine that the USB-A cord cable is faulty, please stop using it immediately. While we don’t sell the replacement charging cords separately, the charging cords are common, easy to find and affordable.
