Product Directions

For best results, use the mask 3-5 times per week. Apply the LightMax SuperCharged LED 2.0 Mask to clean, dry skin. Place the mask over your face so it sits comfortably, then fasten the two straps with velcro to secure it in place. Connect the mask to the controller and select your mode - Anti-Ageing (red) or Anti-Blemish (pink) - by pressing and holding the activation button. A 10-minute countdown will automatically start on the controller, and specific lights on the mask will illuminate depending on the selected treatment mode. The mask is cordless, rechargeable, and flexible, allowing you to move freely or multitask while using it. After 10-minutes, the device will automatically switch off. You can stop the treatment at any time by pressing the same activation button on the controller. After the session is done, remove the mask and apply your normal skincare.

After each use, gently wipe the mask with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to dry before storing. Ensure that the device is not being charged when cleaning.

Before First Use

Charging:
Ensure the LightMax SuperCharged LED 2.0 Mask is fully charged before you attempt to turn it on or use it. Charging is completed when the three lights are on and stay illuminated. Failure to do so may result in reduced battery life or permanent battery damage.

Sensitization Test:
Before carrying out your first treatment, you must complete a sensitization test to assess your sensitivity to light therapy and wait 6 hours before proceeding. The step-by-step guide to perform the sensitization test can be found within the User Manual.

Suited For

The LightMax SuperCharged LED 2.0 Mask is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and break-out prone skin.
Anti-Blemish Mode: People 14 years of age and older with mild to moderate acne only.
Acne Mode: Adults only (18+) with fine lines and wrinkles, tired skin and lack of radiance.

Not suitable for:

pregnant or breastfeeding women

Photosensitivity (sensitization to light) is a common side effect of various medications and some herbal remedies. The safety of the device for children younger than 14 years of age has NOT been tested and the risk is unknown.Since the MZ SKIN LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask 2.0 does not generate heat, most other people are suitable but there is a list of contraindications that should be referred to by anyone who is thinking of having an MZ SKIN LightMAX Supercharged LED Mask 2.0 treatment. Can the device be used during pregnancy?

We would advise against the use of LED therapy if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. While there are no known harmful effects of this, there also isn’t any concrete research that suggests that the LED Device is safe to use during pregnancy, so as a brand we always tend to err on the safe side.
